for 10,000 years of human existence, it's been our destiny.....from the moment that the first tribal community met another, it's been our destiny to mix up, come together. Communication, connectivity. This is what we're up to. How to do it? How big can it be? How do we fix our problems and compromise on our differences. We get ever closer, coming together, falling apart, rebuilding....just how shall we organize ourselves in a society, what does freedom actually mean in regards to society....the questions remain the same, the methods ever varying, and the solutions just out of our reach.

we might disagree with each other on many things....from politics to art, food to movies, what color the curtains should be.....but one thing that most of us can agree on is that all is not well in this world. For whatever reason, we seem to know that we are not on the right track, but we just can't seem to get where it is we say we want go. Conservatives think we've gone too liberal, liberals have found their villain in the Bush years. I seem to have this overwhelming feeling that it's all going down!!!! Yet oddly enough, this doesn't really give me a sense of desperation, more a sense of inspiration. If we manage to avoid nuking ourselves into oblivion, we WILL get it, but the road ahead is a long one......."Out of our inevitable collapse will rise a society greater and stronger than we could've ever imagined! Mankind is destined for greatness!!"
